Big Mama's on the Bayou has served Southern home cooking at 620 W Beach Dr in downtown Panama City for over 20 years. Biscuits and gravy at 6:30 in the morning, a meat-and-two at lunch. That kitchen is where everything on the beach menu comes from.

The move to the beach, 2026
In 2026 we took the old Applebee's building at 10071 Hutchison Blvd, gutted the dark out of it, and opened Big Mama's PCB. We kept the fried chicken and country fried steak, added Gulf seafood, dinner every night and a full bar. Within two months it had more than 240 Google reviews, most of them five stars.
