From Laguna Beach to Big Mama's PCB, 15 minutes east in Panama City Beach

From Laguna Beach on the west end, Big Mama's PCB is about 15 minutes east at 10071 Hutchison Blvd in Panama City Beach. We cook lunch and dinner every day from 11 to 9 and brunch on weekends from 9. Order ahead on Toast for the drive back. Call (850) 588-5085 to confirm hours before you head out.

The drive from the west end

Laguna Beach is 8.3 miles and about 15 minutes from our door. The route runs east on US 98, past Frank Brown Park, then down Clara Avenue to Hutchison Blvd. The Laguna Beach Christian Retreat at 20016 Front Beach Road is 9.4 miles, about 18 minutes.

US 98 keeps you off Front Beach Road for most of the trip, which matters on a summer Saturday.

Dinner worth 15 minutes

When you want a real sit-down dinner, we are the Southern kitchen on the east side. Prime rib starts at $30 and runs Friday and Saturday from 4 PM as a special until it is gone. The Big Papa Platter is $28. Redfish is $26.

Fried chicken, country fried steak and pork chops are the everyday plates. Peach cobbler, bread pudding, pecan pie and strawberry shortcake are $8 each and made in-house.

Sunday is brunch from 9, plus fish or fish and shrimp as the day's special. If you are heading home from a west end rental on a Sunday, a late brunch on the way out is a good last meal at the beach. The Breakfast Po'Boy, sausage and egg scramble with home fries on Leidenheimer bread, is $14.

Takeout for the ride back

Order ahead on Toast before you leave Laguna Beach and it will be ready when you pull into our free lot. Menu prices are cash prices, and a 3% card fee is added.

West end groups and catering

A family reunion or a beach house week on the west end can be catered. Call with the date, the headcount and the address, and we will tell you what we can do and what it costs. Pickup at 10071 Hutchison Blvd is always an option, and delivery out west is something to ask about when you call.
